Arn't they just Smokin' hot?, but then again it might just be the fog making my vision a little Hazy.
Their scales create this 'smoke' that is controlled by the Smokewing, it can reflect light, making illusions that the Smokewing is made out of pure smoke, this illusion can also make it look like the Smokewing has disappeared and then they can 'reform' somewhere else. Its is a way of scaring away other dragons by making themselves look bigger. Also this smoke can colsate to heal part of the dragon, but it makes them loose part of their smoke. As they get older their smoke grows allowing them to make themselves look even bigger.
They can create illusion with their smoke, heal with their smoke, and make themselves look even bigger, and to some extent suffocate others.

They are often named after light, and airy substances(like cloud) adjective to describe those substances(Airy, Ethereal), colors of gray(shadow) or the aftermath of something (Ruins, Fallout)
